wiring harnesses

Hey guys, I recently got an 85 trans am

the wiring in this car is a mess, I'm surprised it survived this long without a fire, so obviously I'm looking into a new wiring harness

I noticed that summit sells the exact same universal wiring harness as painless does for half the price, I asked the customer service and they said the only real difference is the name on the box and summit's is 200$ cheaper.

So if your looking into getting a harness, don't throw your money away.

Re: wiring harnesses

#1, they were probably right.

#2, it's no wonder a Summit salesperson who tell you that. Do you really think ANY company would tell you "Oh.....Ours is made in Nigeria, using the lowest quality material vs the other one being made in the USA with quality stuff."
