right turn signal on the dash does/doesn't work!???

Ok guys, weird problem for you. When I turn left and right the turn signals on the dash work fine, but when I have the headlights on the right turn signal light doesn't work on the dash (the signal itself works fine)...

Any thoughts?? (keep in mind this is a RHD car as I'm from Australia so the issue could be conversion related)
