Camaro Rear Defroster Switch Question!

Ok, i got an 87 iroc, and ive converted all my lights in my interior (dash, shift light, dome, heater controls). i just have one more and thats the rear defroster switch light. I took out the 4 screws holding the switch panel on. But the thing just comes out like an inch and stops. I dont want to tug on anything and break it. How do you get this off to change the light color? help is much appreciated. thx

Re: Camaro Rear Defroster Switch Question!

I just had mine off, there should be enough wire that you can pull it out enough to disconnect the switch. But be careful, the switch is held on to that trim plate by some brittle plastic, ask me how I know:/
