gauges don't work

so when i got my z, there were a lot more problems than i anticipated. one of the main problems is that none of my gauges work. what do you guys think it might be? also, my tail running lights don't work...any suggestions? i think that might be a bad light push switch, but who knows. any thoughts you have are appreciated.

Hey, harv, welcome to TGO. More info about the gauge problem would be helpful.

Re: gauges don't work

well, the speedometer/tachometer just pegs out as soon as the car is turned on, and the others don't read anything at all. the fuses themselves are good, but there may be some internal wiring issues coming out of the fuse box.

Light Subject

RE: Tail “running” lights.

If your front “running” lights come on the problem is not the headlight switch.

Therefore you have a break in the line from the switch back.

Happy Racing!

When you see fog or “running” lights on in good weather beware. WLow performance driver ahead.

How bout those nitwits too scared to drive without headlights in the daytime and the nitwits that need headlights for a little rain

Re: gauges don't work

are your gauges stuck all the way up passed the max line? or they just dont move. I have an 83 z28 (FUN CAR TO HAVE) and the temp gauge gets stuck. I have to unscrew the dash sometimes and move the needle back down because it gets stuck behind the paneling. the first time it happened I suspected overheating, but it turns out when it has a bit of trouble starting all my gauges go wild and that one sticks. check that
