HEI ignition wire

Question: If you caught your engine bay on fire and burned all the insulation off your ignition (BAT) wire, would you tape it and continue to use it, or change it ?

Re: HEI ignition wire

Might as well do it right, gonna change the coil and module (matching this time),change the wires, install a 180* thermo and set the plug gap down to .040 . It's a 78 dizzy in an 84, if it still keeps killing them (module), I'll have to look at the tach as a probable cause----I don't want to loose my tach. !!
