I seen under the tank there is a plug with 3 wires a gray purple an black can I splice them an put the new relay there? I had to rewire the whole car Please a diagram would help or any sugestions would be great! Thank you.

Re: Fuel Pump Relay!
Quick question: do you still have the underhood wiring or did you already cut out what was not needed for the carbureted engine?
If you still have the FPOP switch (Fuel Pump Oil Pressure) and the wires attached to it (orange and tan/white), you can reuse that to feed the power fuel pump with the engine running. At that point you could need a prime button to prime the carb bowl after the car has been sitting for a while (days at a time, probably). You would just need to find a source of 12V under the dash (a pink one, since they are powered from ignition) and wire it through a push-button to the tan/white wire that comes up from the driver side floor (under the door sill).
That would be a safer way to wire the fuel pump than directly to the ignition circuit.
Hope this helps.
