Turn Signals Dont work, But Hazards do?
Hey all so in my 88 firebird the turn signals havent worked for a while now. They dont even light up. Heres how it goes. My Parking lights work fine( my turn signals are lit up) my rear lights are fine. My head lights are fine, My brake lights are fine, even my hazards work, they actually blink. But was weird is my blinkers do not. When i activate my blinkers nothing happens. Doesnt show a signal inside by the gauges. But when i pull the hazard toggle on the steering wheel, it blinks fine, which means my actual blinker is still good because i replaced it while back. So what's causing the blinkers to not come on? Ive checked all fuses in block under driver side dash but are there any other fuse boxes? Some one please help im starting to drive her again and im really trying to nail all my problems down ONCE AND FOR ALL!!! Thanks all

There are two blinker units in our cars , one for the turn signals and one for the hazard lights . They are different units in different places . I don't remember offhand where the one for the turn signals is , but a quick search of "turn signal blinker location" ought to find it ...

Blink Think
init4fun is correct.
Not if the blinker failed in the open condition.
However if testing or replacing it proves it still good, turn the ignition key to the RUN position.
Using a test light (the type for testing for voltage, not a continuity tester) probe the purple wire going to the steering column connector.
It’s the larger of the connectors located on the right side of the steering column.
If there’s power there, turn the blinker to the left position, then probe the LIGHT blue wire at the same connector.
Is there power there?
