Brights won't work

When I first got the car, the brights seemed to work ok. Then about a month later, all of my headlights would flash on and off and eventually go out all together when my brights had been on for about 15 minutes. Now, my switch doesn't even click on the brights without trying and playing with the turnsignal lever. I'm in Missouri-a lot of country- and need brights to help avoid the deer around here. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks- Roy

Check the dimmer switch at the bottom of the steering column. It is operated by a little rod that comes down from the turnsignal switch. Chances are, the switch is either out of adjustment, or, it has failed.

Have fun.
