auto meter 5" tach hookup

i just got my tach today and i looked at the instructions and it says that the red wire hooks up to the ignition switch and i was just wondering where you guys hooked it up at and where did you guys hook up the white wire for the dash lights? did you guys just hook up at the fuse box and if so what fuses

for wiring diagrams.

Take ignition power from the gauges fuse (pink / black wire) and tach illumination light power from the inst fuse (gray wire) either @ the fuse block, or at the cluster harness.

Send me an E-mail & I'll send you my mods list. The '92 data is with 90 hp nitrous - it runs hi 12's without the nitrous. The '84 is motor only.....
