Polished Vortec intake, single plane. With fuel rails
Bought this intake to convert to port fuel injection, never started the project. Brand new in box, never used. I also have a set of custom made fuel rails for the intake if you want to convert it to fuel injection.

That is pretty interesting...but I would like to see what the inside of the manifold ports look like after the bungs are installed. How far do they protrude into the air flow?

The bungs don't protude at all, they are ported smooth after being welded in. The only thing that protrudes a bit are the injector tips, for good atomization. You can also angle them so they spray directly at the intake valve.
I've converted a couple cars this way, including a olds 455.

Like mhaskell said above. Once installed and ported they are smooth. just the tip shows.
