Well, it finally dawned on me that I'm an idiot. I did an auto to manual swap because I thought my transmission blew, and all along, it was the rear end that went out.
Dumb, I know. But, I'm not that upset because I wanted a manual anyway.
So, my auto is for sale. Here is the deal- I think it works, but I can't be positive. So, the price of the trans is $100. If it doesn't work, I'll refund your money- every dime of it. I was told that this transmission was rebuilt in 2003, so I'm led to believe that it should be fine.
If you want to bump up the price to $150, I'll throw in the B&M ratchet shifter with shifter plate, and anything automatic related I removed from my car for the swap.
Yes, I know I'm opening myself up to being screwed by offering a full refund on just somebody else's word. But, whatever.
I cut the cooling lines and shift cable when I removed the trans, so you'll have to reuse yours.
I also have a brand new, unopened transmission jack for $80. I bought it for the swap, but shipping took so darn long that I did the job without it.
Everything must be picked up in Marlboro, NJ. Refund is only valid on the transmission. As always, prices are all negotiable. I'll accept paypal or cash. If I need to refund you, I will use paypal or mail a check.

If there was a way I could prove it works, i would. But I don't have a car to test it in, since I've already converted mine to manual. Plus, I'm not going to go through 8 hours of work to test something to give it away for free.
I'm not trying to get somebody to throw my garbage away- I have a yearly permit at our local dump, so thats not it. I'd just hate to see a working transmission go in the dumpster.
Along that line, I will be throwing it away in 2 weeks, so if you want it before then, let me know.
Thanks. I'm trying to wait until I completely finish the car, and then I'll sell some parts that I find leftover/lying around. I took alot of the car out during the conversion (both in terms of the transmission and in terms of the body kit), so hopefully I'll do a "yard sale" post in a few weeks.
I'm just listing the trans now because it takes up too much space in my parents garage, so they are making me get rid of it soon. Lol, it doesn't take up nearly as much space as the camaro that doesn't move in their garage, but whatever.
i kno a little about jersey being from new york, but ive never heard of marlboro... how far are you from the the G dub bridge? i would def be willing to take you up on that free offer and will throw in the fifty for the other parts but it all depends on how far you are.
