Hey guys. I've got a 305 block and heads that I want to get out of my garage. I pulled it out of an 87 Formula that was originally supposed to have a 350 in it. I bought a 350 and am having it rebuilt so I need this 305 gone.
The number 1 and 2 rod bearings are spun. The crank is kind of chewed up but could be reused if machined correctly. I've got all the parts that would go with this motor minus the TPI setup. I'll be reusing that on the 350. Now, this motor came out of an 87 but I'm not sure what year the motor is. So I'm not sure if this is a roller or flat tappet block. Don't really want to take it any further apart to find out.
If no one wants it, then it's going to the junkyard. I will not ship, so local pickup is a must. I'm located on the east side of Ft. Wayne, IN, about 7 or 8 miles west of New Haven.
