Are the heads off set rocker ? D shaped exshuast ports or round ?
I have a 509 virgin block and forged crank and a solid roller cam with 272 @ 50, Sounds like this would work nice with them.

stand. rocker d port exhaust. with this combo and a .500 lift i went 11.90's at 115 in a stock susp. 86z @3400lbs with a t350 and a 4500 stall converter, makes for a great weekend ride, i also still have converter.

bump for a great deal. for those that asked, the heads are the "phase 6" heads with the d-shaped exh ports.

I want them, just need to sell some of my stuff first or the wife will ....
I at least want to get the heads if I get them before they are gone.
The wife, by the way has been very understanding.

Well what are you looking for. I have sbc stuff. Like a 350 4blt virgin block, magged, hot tanked, ready the be machined. OR a 350 studded 4bolt, bored 60, TRW small domed pistons about 11 to 1 with 64cc heads, double roller timing chain, hi volume oil pump, comp 306 solid cam (260 @50)
I have a super T-10 tranny, a 63 or 65 corvette 4 speed shifter. ect

Oh man..I have a int. bal. 400 forged crank I was saving. It made 20 passes in a 7 sec. car, then they replace them. I had it for like 2 years now. Along with a virgin 400 509 sbc.

Re: 400 sbc pistons and bowtie 049 alum heads
I have 4 of the 049 bowtie heads. 2 brand new in the box NOS, the decks on them look like a mirror. They need all the machining done. I have 2 others complete that do not match, 1 is phase 6 and 1 in not. both have 205 or 208 int. valves. one of them is fairly normal, but the other in highly modified.
I just wanted to get closer to getting another project done.
