moroso 20182 oil pan, 86-newer sbc
i have a moroso engine oil pan for 1986-newer small block chevrolet engines for sale. it's intended for camaro and firebird applications, but should be able to be used on just about any small block application aside from early nova platforms. here's the product listing as seen on summit racing's website, where this very oil pan retails for $169.95!
Brand: Moroso
Part Number: MOR-20182
Rear Main Seal Style: 1-piece
Sump Style: Wet
Oil Pan Capacity: 6 quarts
Oil Pan Depth (in): 8.250 in.
Oil Pan Material: Steel
Oil Pan Finish: Orange painted
Sump Location: Rear
Baffled: Yes
Kicked Out: No
Stroker Clearanced: No
Maximum Stroke with OE Rod: 3.800 in.
Dipstick Provision: Yes
Dipstick Location: Passenger side
Windage Tray Included: No
Pickup Included: No
Crank Scraper Included: No
Gaskets Included: No
Hardware Included: No
the proper oil pump pickup for this pan is moroso part number 24170. i do not have this, you would have to buy it or come up with another pump pickup. included with the oil pan is a lokar enigne oil dipstick. lokar part number is ed-5001, and retails for $49.95 from summit racing. it fits the same engines as the moroso oil pan. both items are in like new condition, and have some cosmetic blemishes (chipped paint) that in no way affect their function.
i'm asking $100 for both the oil pan and the oil dipstick.
i do have this for sale locally, also. please contact me for any shipping quotes you may need.

Re: moroso 20182 oil pan, 86-newer sbc
the oil pan isn't "shiny paint brand new" , but came off of a display shelf from a speed shop.
it has paint chipped off of it, but has never been installed on an engine. hence, i call it "like new condition."
i did a bit of digging and found
this link the first posting is running a 396 stroker (4.030 bore, 3.875 stroke) and using this part number oil pan.
i also found
this link where the poster says Moroso told him the pan would fit a 383.
i think that you'll be fine with the 383 crank (3.75 stroke) and using this oil pan.
keep in mind that you'd be getting the oil pan plus a lokar dipstick. the pan and dipstick is boxed up and ready to go ready for a shipping quote!
please let me know what you decide.
thanks!

That means the pan as it comes is stock configuration , has not been modified for stroker.
Does not mean stroker crank won't fit!
