Professional Products TPI Throttle Body, 52mm, Polished

Lists on Summit for $259.95 US

Those of you that have read my thread will know I had problems with this one sticking and the fact I broke one throttle blade screw (see pic) and doesn't affect operation. Other than that it's in it's original condition and packaging. It was on my car for an hour. If you're going for looks this is a nice choice to dress up your engine. There are no plenum gasket, coolant housing gasket or machine screws for the AIC housing in the box. The throttle cable adapters are there for other applications. Installation instructions included.

Check the Summit site for proper application of this part (P/N 69704).

Buyer agrees to pay actual shipping, PM with your location & postal code and I'll get a quote.

Asking $150 US + shipping. Paypal payments only.

I am interested but unsure what you mean by you have had problems with sticking. Will I have the same issues or have you resolved them?

I think it's going to need some tinkering with the idle adjustment screw. I wasn't able to get any help from the vendor or manufacturer. I did polish the throttle blades and it helped a bit. That's when I broke one screw, see pictures, it doesn't affect the operation though.

I've had a couple of inquiries on this. This was my response to the last one....

If you've read my threads you know I had problems with it right from the start. With shipping I've got almost $300 in it, all wasted IMHO. As much as I'd like to get my money back I wouldn't wish this POS on anybody. Sorry.

I've decided not to sell it but nail it up on my shed wall as a reminder not to buy chinese made crap.

IMHO save the extra bucks and get a Holley if you want a good TB replacement. I was lucky and found one on e-Bay for the same price as the performance products POS.

The only drawback to the Holley was having to buy new gaskets. You use your old IAC housing and will likely need new torx screws too.

That's as honest as I can get. Sorry.

That just might be worth the 300 bucks you spent.
