I have no problem shipping. I build crates and ship transmissions for work all the time. I'd do the same. Ensures the heads stay intact while UPS or FEDEX throws them around! LOL
Haven't physically weighed em yet, but I seem to recall 44lbs a piece for a SBC iron head. So figure 88lbs for the heads, and 5-10lbs for the crate.
UPS ground says $90. We can certainly make a deal.
The oldearly 70's 370HP Corvettes had 2.02/1.60 valves in camel hump heads, 11:1, with the LT1 cam. I've personally worked with those heads, and what I've got here with the port job and bowl work, will flow as much or more.
Have a similar set on a 327 for a customer, not the good flowing 416 heads, but some older 58cc heads gone 64cc, who refuses to get a larger than golf cart size air cleaner, and refuses to get rid of the 2.5" pinch bent exhaust, Comp solid roller 286HR 230/230@.050, .560 lift, 110șLSA dynoed at 285hp.
These heads with the right cam and compression should easily be 280-320RWHP.
