Output shaft? Is this the shaft coming out the end of the trans through the tailhousing? If so I wouldnt even begin to know how to remove it. I usually stay clear of messing with auto transmissions other than removing torque converters, fluid pans, and tailhousings. I may be picking up a TPI car this week though but wont know until tomorrow sometime.........jt

Do you mean the driveshaft which goes from the transmission to the rear end? the only way to remove the actual output shaft of the transmission is the completley dissasemble it. now, if you meant the driveshaft, thats a different story all together.

I know someone who rebuilds trannies so i'm sure he could remove it in a matter of minutes. what are you looking to spend on it? I could probably do $120 shipped for the shaft and tailhousing depending on if he will remove it for me at a minimal charge...........jt

$35 Tailhousing
$50 Shaft
$15 S/H
$20 for the guy to remove the shaft if he agrees.
$120 total.

I talked to him earlier, he said he can have it completely dismantled in a matter of minutes. Next problem is, trans is still in the car and after being burned several times in the past it wont be pulled out until payment is recieved(not looking to waist my time on it then you find the parts local or find them from someone else). Once i get the payment I can have the parts shipped within 24 hrs. Paypal is jtmiller92@alltel.net or you can send a money order to the following address. You can check my user name in the feedback section if your worried about getting burned..........jt

Did you change your mind or find the parts elsewhere?
