Wanted: 10 bolt 3:42 posi parts for 91 z28

Anyone want to unload one of these, either the whole rear end assembly or the gearset and 28 spline axles. I have the bearing kit but I'm waiting for 28 spline axles from a distributor for over a month now and they still haven't shipped them. Mech says my gears are ok and only the bearings need to be replaced. I think the gears are gone too judging by the noise. My axle ends hardening is starting to pit.

thanks

i have a 3.42 gear set for a series 3 carrier, no noise when they were taken out and replaced by 3.73's $45+shipping if you want them, how ever you are really better off buying a new gears set from stange, moser, ect. because of the wear patterens on used gears. gears wear in a particular way, not really important in mechanical sence yet if the pattern is not lined up perfectly than it can cause a whining noise

Re: Wanted: 10 bolt 3:42 posi parts for 91 z28

Thank you Madhatter but I just gotta set from another guy on here. After all the BS trying to get Brandnew axles (Still waiting) I'll hold out on the new gearset. I just got these other ones in case mine are fried. I blew a seal a few years ago and had to drive it home about 25 miles. There was no tow trucks and if I left the car on the hwy, it would have been vandalized or torched. Thanks though I appreciate it.
