Transmission Crossmember

I was told that a TH200 Automatic Transmission Crossmember is what
i need.
Does anybody have one of these, it should have came from a 2.8 6 cylinder motor.

If you have one, can you measure the lenght for me so i know it's
long enough where it would work for me.

Thx

Pistol Pete

Re: Transmission Crossmember

If you are trying to install a 200 4R, you can use an aftermarket crossmember for a Turbo 400. You will have to purchase something that either mounts the stock torque arm or a crossmember/torque arm combination. There is no provisions on a 200 4R for a torque arm to mount.

Re: Transmission Crossmember

82 was a one year bolt pattern on the ends of the crossmember

83-up changed bolt pattern on subframes

i have an 82 factory 200c car

350 trans is easiest to install in the 200c cars

and is what i did.

still confused on what you have and what youre trying to install

if you have an 83-up then you need an 83up x member

83 also had a 200c

you dont HAVE to have a certain anything

a flat piece of steel with two holes drilled in it for the trans mount will work fine

back of the trans is light. only need the x member to keep the trans in place
