You are looking at a set of AFR Air Flow Research aluminum cylinder heads for a small block Chevroelt engine before 1987(they will fit any non-LT1/LS1 engine, but are not emissions legal on those setups). These heads are loaded. They feature FULL CNC porting from the factory and come with the large 2.02/1.60 stainless steel valves with tri-angle valve job. These valves come with AFR's hardened ductile iron interlocking valve seats as well. The heads come stock with beehive style valve springs for decreased bind at extreme RPM's and I had the RPM kit installed by AFR to upgrade the valve springs to handle up to 7500RPM's. I also have the RPM kit that installs extra springs between the head and the lifters to handle the increased ramp rates of a roller camshaft. These heads are also available to handle any cam up to .600in of valve lift. They also have screw in studs for the rocker arms and come with guideplates for the pushrods. These heads are used by a lot of performance magazines to do buildups when they have the extra cash because they are simply the best street head on the market hands down. With these heads you truly get what you pay for. Here is the URL for the AFR site that tells a little more about the heads - Air Flow Research These are the street heads that you see on that page. Brand new I paid over $1800 for these heads, but I am not going with my original scenario and have no use for them. They are still in their original plastic bags in the original box. They have only been removed for pictures and to gaulk at them. I only accept money orders for this item as PayPal takes too much money. Buyer pays whatever actual shipping is through UPS insured. I am not going to diddle around on prices all month long either. $1600 is what I want for them. If someone sends me a money order quickly I would probably pay the shipping on them.

also have lots of other 350/383 parts for sale, so if you need something for a 2 piece block, give me a hollar. SLP headers SOLD!!!, roller lifters, connecting rods, intake, Holley 830 race carb, lots of stuff
Sounds like a decent deal to me. I have those same heads and like them very much. I may upgrade to the beehive springs over the winter, actually. FWIW, the reduced mass of the Beehive springs may actually make the hydrarev kit redundant. You might be better off splitting the Hydrarev kit into a separate for-sale item. Either way, I hope you sell those heads fast.

(edit)
Err, based on the pictures you posted, those are not beehive springs but are probably the standard AFR dual spring (comparable to the Comp 761-16) with steel retainer and seven degree locks. Good enough spring for 6300 RPM and .550" of valve lift.
Which screw-in stud option do you have, anyway? 3/8 or 7/16" ??

Reason: Automerged Doublepost
It's an 830cfm Holley Race carb with annular 30cc boosters. It is a dual feed with clear sight glass bowls. Needs nothing, just put it on and run. $300

also forgot to add to the list that I have a T56 from a 97 Trans Am with 34K on it. It's just the trans, and the slave cylinder. I also have a Spohn x-member with torque arm for F-bodies as well. Make me an offer on each or both.

Vernw, you are out of your mind on the heads, these are new, don't try to screw me over. The Holley carb has sat for about 5 months now. It's a Holley 0-9381 carb if you want to look that up. There are 2 right now on eBay and they are both around $400.
These heads are for pre-87 blocks or for non-emissions blocks of any gen I sbc. What that means is NO EGR. These heads can use any of the lifters that they say will work from the AFR website. All you need to do is check out that web address at the top and you can check out what lifters will work with them. I had purchased retrofit roller lifters for my block, but I think that there are just specific brands that won't work with the Rev kit. Also, these springs are the upgraded springs to 1.5XX", I do not have that info right here. You can check that out on the website as well.
The two on ebay are brand new 396. I can get one locally with a fresh rebuild for 250. If you can give a picture and beat that within reason I might be interested.
why would you even be interested in mine if you truly have one close to your house for that price? I am asking 300 because it's in great shape, comes in the original box, and nothing really needs to be done with it. There is also one used on eBay for $300 used. Thanks for looking
