Casting #376450. 7 exhaust bolt holes, 60cc chamber, 1.72" intake valves and have the accessory holes in the ends of the heads like you need. I bought these from Auto Zone for over $200 each, put them on a rebuilt 350. The machine shop did the clearances wrong on the crank and it burned the bearings out in about 500 miles. These heads are like new because they are! Asking $150 plus shipping for the pair.

Casting #3986336....71......350..........76cc chamber, 1.94" intake valves and have the accessory holes in the ends of the heads like you need. These are a pair of used heads and would need a valve job. Asking $50 plus shipping for them.

the last set are camel hump heads right?

Yes the last set are what is called camel hump heads, or FI (fuel injection) heads. They do not have accesory holes in them.

RE: the haeds #376450 do you still have them?
I might be interested have the guides been replaced?
I got a 283 yhey might work on.

Technically, the heads that I have will bolt onto your 283 BUT they won't work well at all for a couple of reasons. One, they are 76 cc chambers which will significantly drop your compression ratio = a HUGE loss in power. Secondly, the chambers are much wider (to unshroud the valves for better air flow in the cumbustion chamber) which again will drop your HP.

What you need is a set of HO 305 heads. THEY will wake your 283 up as they have 58 cc chambers AND a smaller width chamber which will match the 283's bore much better.
