Hello everyone, I am getting rid of my Haltech E6GM programable computer complete with a nice working Toshiba Satellite Pro 420-CDT with Windows 95 and the Haltech program installed. I am including the; E6GM Haltech programable computer, Toshiba laptop, complete Haltech instructions, extension 9-pin port serial cable, original 3.5 Haltech floppy disk, several CD copies of the Haltech program and different versions. The laptop is in great shape and the battery last for about 2 hours without plugging. Laptop includes AC cable. asking $600.00, got something to offer? Let me know.

I've got a factory cd player that looks original for 80s gm cars. Look at the "interior" classifieds, I have a picture of it posted.

I also have a compaq armada m700 laptop with windows xp and obd II interface and software that I no longer need as well.

For those of you who dont know what a Haltech E6GM is, well is the plug and play ECU from Haltech specifically made for third gens. The only thing that you'll need to do is to re-pin about four wires that go into the computer plug, all well explained in the instructions booklet. I believe that originally MAP equipped vehicles dont even have to do it. This computer will run on MAP sensor, no MAF (at last!). The harness from the car will plug directly to the E6GM, but again some re-pining on MAF cars is necessary and easy to do.

How much without the laptop, I already have one....How hard is it to program? So this would take the place of burning chips?

Yes this computer is completely programable and adjustable, no more chip burning. The program is very easy to use. You can even download it from haltech.com and run it in your computer just to know how it works. Remember to make compatibility to windows 95 before trying to run it since it might have problems with windows XP or Vista.

Without the laptop I'll take $450.00 for it.
