Did you buy the cam new? I can't really tell from the pics but it looks used to me. Maybe whoever sold you the cam didn't know? Or maybe I'm just seeing things? Can you post cose-up images of the lobes and bearing circles?

It was in the crate engine that I bought. I never ran it. The motor had zero miles on it. I will get come close up pics for you tonight, it's brand new.

You bought this motor directly from a GM dealer or an authorized parts outlet?

No I bought it last year, it had been sitting in storage since the early 90's. I don't have paperwork for the motor if that's what you're asking. I only know through running the various part number that is a ZZZ crate engine built sometime in 88-89, and that it was never fired, and had never been apart until I took it apart. I sold the 113 heads off it last year, now looking to part with the 4bbl intake an the cam. As stated these parts are brand new, I can't say it any louder than the posts on this thread.
