"Tuned Port Injection, Miscellaneous Conversion Pieces"....
This is not a complete kit, but it is a very good starting point for those wishing to convert they're carbureted, and/or Throttle Body Injected engines to Tuned Port Injection. These parts are off of a late 80's LB9 engine, and include the following pieces; Electronic Control Module '7165 (stock prom), Mass Air Flow Sensor, TPI Distributor, TPI Intank Fuel Pump, TPI Throttle Body (non-ported) w/TPS Sensor Included, TPI Intake Plenum (non-ported) & TPI Fuel Rail. Again, this is not a complete kit of course, but it is a very good starting point. Pictures to be posted shortly....
-Rob

Re: "Tuned Port Injection, Miscellaneous Conversion Pieces"....
If you are willing to sell just the throttlebody and plenum imight be interested depending on pictures.... need them for a 89 350 so canuse them from a 89 to 92...
Re: "Tuned Port Injection, Miscellaneous Conversion Pieces"....
^ Hey Bill, how are ya. I'll definitely consider selling the parts individually as opposed to altogether. Once I get back to the house I'll have all of the pictures up for everybody to see. I'm quite sure that you'll want both the plenum and throttle body when you see them, that's for sure....

Re: "Tuned Port Injection, Miscellaneous Conversion Pieces"....
My cousin Rob called me awhile ago and asked if I cut put some pictures up of just the throttle body and the intake plenum. Here is a quick picture of the two pieces, but I told him to wait to see if a member could use the entire package in a whole before selling it off piece by piece. We'll just give it a day or two, and if everything doesn't sell in one shot, we'll break it all up for you guys. Pics of the rest of the system will be up later on.
Thanks,
-Gaspar

Re: "Tuned Port Injection, Miscellaneous Conversion Pieces"....
Sorry for the glare in the pics. Here is another shot, different angle. The face of the plenum has a little gasket residue still on it around the orifice, but that will be buffed right off before the setup is shipped to the buyer....
Thanks,
-Gaspar

Re: "Tuned Port Injection, Miscellaneous Conversion Pieces"....
... oh, and before anybody asks, yes, the plenum does come with the necessary vacuum fittings, as well as the throttle and kickdown bracket, and the throttle body comes with a TPS sensor. The only thing that doesn't come with the throttle body is the IAC sensor, or the IAC housing itself (the housing that screws into the throttle body from underneath).
Thanks,
-Gaspar

No problem Bill. The only difference between the two setups ('88 to '89), was the way the IAC passageway was routed. Ideally it would work, but I'm a lot like you, and I like to keep the proper years in check myself. It worked out though, because I'd rather Rob sell everything off in one shot anyways....
Thanks,
-Gaspar

The TB for sale here has the early type throttle hookup; not the quadrant type found on the later ("88+ ?) TB's.Can be used by using early type accel cable.

MAF Sensor w/ECM has been sold....
Here is a quick picture of the fuel rail, this piece needs new o-rings installed all around. Please note that the fuel lines (as the rails themselves were already polished) will be cleaned up before shipped, as the factory paint on them has since been starting to peel off (as can be seen in the pic)....

Just to respond to some of the PM's, here is a quick picture of the fuel rail's underside. Other than the fuel rail, all that's left is the; Plenum, throttle body, intank fuel pump, and distributor (I actually have two dizzy's, one with an internal coil, and one with an external, both coming from TPI applications)....

Re: "Tuned Port Injection, Miscellaneous Conversion Pieces"....
Wow, if I weren't already logged on, I would have never seen this thread, as for some reason I'm not getting any responses to it in my email lol. The fuel pump is gone, but as far as TPI fuel related items go though, I still have; a complete TPI intank sending unit (minus pump), eight 28-lb Grand National Injectors, and an entire TPI setup. I might be selling it as a whole package though, if it falls through, will part it all out if there is interest....

Was going to sell them with a modified LT1 intake, but I haven't finished it yet because of other projects that I'm currently working on. If I can't finish the LT1 intake sometime this week, I'll let them go without the intake. I had those 28-lb's on my 355-TPI, but I never finished the project, and I didn't even use them yet, but they came off of my buddy Paul's '87 Grand National w/low miles....;
