Wow...nice deal. Wish I had the cash for that right now.

How much clearancing is involved to clear that kind of stroke in a SBC block? Or is that a spell mistake and suppose to be 3.75 stroke?

It's 3.875 stroke. You'll have to have the block notched to clear the crank throws just like on the 3.75 stroke. I wish you had the cash also

hmm that is a solid price, i may beable to swing that but thats abit bigger stroke than i'd like. i have to call the machine shop to see how much clearancing would be

My prices are INSANE!!!! (think Crazy Eddie commercial) I was just reading an old article from Chevy High Performance and they built a 396 small block using this kind of crank. Let me know on what the machine shop says.

According to ESP, it does with this crank.

I would have bought this already but I'm still trying to find pistons that would work with this combo. So far it looks like custom made pistons will be required.

SRP makes pistons for this crank. Here are the specs from Chevy High Performance magazine:

SRP-144995
