I have a Mcleod Street Twin Pull clutch kit, summit pn MCL-64002-1A-07 which normally retails for $860. The kit includes discs, pressure plate, throwout bearing, and a billet steel flywheel. This pull style clutch kit is advertised to handle over 450 horsepower. The kits are pre-balanced to fit specific applications and include the correct alignment tool for installation. The flywheel is a 153 tooth style with 26 spline disc, and is recommended for use on a one piece rear main SBC. The kit has only had the appropiate break-in period for use (500 miles) and it is in good condition and ready for install. Pictures can be sent upon request.

Interested, but does this work on a T56 from a 95 Z28? On the Summit description, it says it's 10.5" dia, but pretty sure it's 11" on Camaro/Firebirds. Also, isn't it a push type (not pull) for Camaros?
Also, under application on Summit, it only lists trucks.
I went out and double checked the disc diameter and it's 10.5". I find it curious that it would matter because the kit has the flywheel and pressure plate. I could see it making a difference if the flywheel tooth count is different or if you have 2 piece rear main because this one is for a one piece. I also thought that the T56 style for camaros was a pull, but I'll double check on that.
Did some research on the forum and found that a T56 uses a pull style clutch. Maybe the push style is used on a T5 or other type transmission? Hope that answers your questions. Send me a pm with your email if you want pics of it. Thanks for the interest

yes, just to backup your statement LT1 style T-56 transmissions use a pull type clutch. i beleive the LS1 went back to a push style.
you may be able to sell the parts if you find out exactly what flywheel is included (for 1-pc or 2-pc rear main seal), what transmissions the parts work w/, etc etc. I'd hit up the forums on mcleod and ask. ttt
The clutch is for a T56 because its a pull style on not a push like on a stock third gen manual and I believe a T-5 is push as well. The flywheel is a 153 tooth meant to work with a one piece style rear main. The clutch is organic style 26 tooth spline style. The whole kit lists for $860 from summit (pn MCL-64002-1A-07). I think that about covers it.
it is for 93-97 f-body T56 used behind the LT1's. I know cause I had this clutch. Is it alum. or steel flywheel? Does it have the adjustable master cyl. with it?
I must apologize because I made a mistake with the part number that I had listed. gcpoland made a good point to me about the clutch kit and I realized that I had listed the incorrect part number. The actual part number of the clutch kit on the summit site is MCL-64004B-00-07. Everything that I listed above about the clutch kit is correct, and the only change is the part number for the kit.
This clutch kit still for sale? I am in the middle of a 383 LT1 swap using a 94 LT1 with a 95 style cam and a 97 T-56. Will this kit work for me? If so I am VERY interested and I will do more research now...
Also, I already have a balanced flywheel for my T-56. Can I stick with the one I have or do I have to use the one that comes with the kit?
On summit it shows this kit is for 86-92 chevy/pontiac. I looked one up for the 97 T-56 and it is different than this one you have for sale....
please send pics. PM sent.
