GM 291 SBC Cylinder Heads Worked
GM SBC small block heads casting number 291. heads are a date code 1968 and are not replacement heads.

64cc combustion chamber

screw-in studs

1.94 1.50 valves

These heads have gone 12.80s in an all steel full interior 3800 pound car with a hydraulic flat tappet 327 sbc.

I JUST SWAPPED TO LUNATI BEEHIVE SPRINGS. 1.29 BOTTOM DIAMETER 1.055 TOP DIAMETER. HERE IS THE LINK: http://lunatipushrods.net/Product.aspx?id=472&gid=192

Professionally bowl blended and port matched to an edelbrock intake by Jersey Cylinder head / Tim zepp engines heads flow in the 22x range @ .500 lift


heads have about 1500 miles on them since rebuild, springs have maybe 400 miles on them.


no junk. bolt them on and go

heads painted black and currently on my motor.

Center intake bolt angle is different on 87 and up (non Vortec) heads, but the intake can be made to work with some grinding. otherwise, you will need a new intake.
