Burning oil at 5000 miles? That's a little scary but the heads are great. These are perfect heads for 305 owners or someone like me that runs propane in thier truck. The reason for this is the decks on those ProTopline's are very thick and you can mill the combustion chambers to 40cc. Try that on a stock set of Vortecs. The heads are already set up with screw-in studs and bigger valve spring pockets. I highly recommend these heads over stock Vortecs.
