New 255 lph pump from Highflow Fuel - $50 shipped

For sale is a new in box 255 lph fuel through high flow fuel systems, part # HFFS-340. This is their in house model and it comes with a one year warranty. They sent me an extra pump for other people at this site to try out because I mentioned a lot of people on these boards are unhappy with Walbro (mine went bad after about four months). If anyone else is interested in these fuel pumps or for more information, here is a link to their ebay store:

http://stores.ebay.com/High-Flow-Fuel-Systems

These pumps seem to be currently back-ordered but I believe they normally cost around $70 for a new one. They also have good prices on Walbro pumps if anyone is interested.

Re: New 255 lph pump from Highflow Fuel - $50 shipped

I looked at the pump and the part number stamped on it is TRE 340, which means it is the same pump as the one's you will find on Ebay through TRE performance. I am guessing that the reason they aren't listed on Highflow's website is due to the back order.

I installed one of these pumps on my car today and it ran great. I haven't tested how it holds fuel pressure at WOT yet, but I expect it to hold quite well. Also, you will notice that the intake port of the pump is large and in the center versus the offset smaller ones on factory pumps for our cars. I expected this to cause a problem where I would need to modify the hanger but it didn't end up being necessary. The only real problem I had during installation was with the fact that this pump is about a half inch shorter than a standard one, which required me to use a section of rubber line and some hose clamps (both are supplied) to connect the pump to the fuel delivery line on the sending unit.

Bump.

I tested the fuel pressure whith it running at wot and the needle stayed right at 50 psi so I think it's a quality pump.
