Got a rear from a 93 Z28 just sitting in the backyard. Have zero use for it now and here is why:
Seller advertised it as 3.42's, told me via email and in person that it was def 3.42 rear. Got home, put it in, popped cover, figured I'd take a look at the gears and saw 13 42. Well you do the math, that equals 3.23. Seller is a bitch and has not contacted me back thru email, phone calls. Even went to dudes house and spoke with his mom. Nothing.
The rear is of no use to me now. It's in great condition. Just needs fluids and your good to go.
Im in connecticut and am interested in your rear end. Is it in good shape internally? I just bought a 9 bolt posi and its shot (spins only one tire..makes tons of noise). I want to know for sure that this one is in good shape..as in the posi works and all. Any idea how many miles are on it? If i were to buy it could you meet me halfway with it?
