If you don't have the funds for top aluminum head, this is probably the best bang for the buck. I chose these for my street sleeper california car. My engine builder does a chunk of NASCAR truck racing business and he was surprised and pleased to do the extra blending, gasket matching, etc. We were even able to bump the compression up some.
I'm not an expert, but I think for the TPI system, where you absolutely do not want to loose any pressure/speed from the air entering the cylinder, these probably are the max valve size you should use. All in all they're a solid torque durable product just out of the box. Nitro-Nick
