I'm selling a Stewart components water pump for a small block chevy. It is the long style pump that fits almost everything. Rotation is standard for use with v-belts. Serpentine belts need reverse rotation pumps. Stewart pumps are considered among the best mechanical pumps and flow far more water than a stock pump. This pump is also aluminum which is far lighter than the stock cast iron pump. They are also quite expensive ($169). I used this pump for 1 or 2 seasons, less than 6,000 miles and there is nothing wrong with it. I am only selling because I went to an LS1 motor. Here is a link to one like I'm selling:
This pump has a -20 AN fitting welded to the inlet to match my radiator plumbing. I can either leave this on or weld either a 1 1/2" or 1 3/4" extension on it for your lower hose, buyer's choice. I'm an experienced welder so don't worry about that.
Not included with this sale but also available are these alternator brackets and alternator. These brackets are very expensive if you buy them from March. I'll sell the brackets to the buyer for $30. The alternator is a 100 amp one-wire and I'll sell that for another $30
Re: Stewart water pump. Standard rotation. Stage 2
i have the stock 105amp alt that still works but im prob gona put in a 140amp. my pulley system is the stock pulleys except i have an underdrive on the crank but its V belt system except for the alternator and water pump. would a stock water pump pulley bolt up to the stewart warner? i have there guages and love them, heard good things bout there pumps. is the stock pump a long neck style?
how much is shipping? 07052 in NJ
it states i need a stewart warner special thermostat... can a regular stat be used? i already have the highflow mr gasket ones that look exactly like theirs. i dont need the bracketry since im running stock everything alt, water pump, and powersteering.

Re: Stewart water pump. Standard rotation. Stage 2
The stock pump for the serpentine pulleys is a reverse rotation. If you are switching to v belts this pump would be perfect. Any v belt pulley will bolt on. I'll give you the one I have if you need it.
The stock pump is the long style like this one. I used a regular t-stat with this without any problems. They require a bypass so if you don't have the heater core hooked up you can drill a couple 1/8" holes in the t-stat.
Shipping to NJ is about $12, probably a little more but we can figure $12.
