Is this out of a V8? Do you have the slave cylinder and bell housing for it thanks Jason.

You could only get the 6spd behind a V8.

Correct. It is a six speed from a LT1(V8) Camaro. Yes it has the bellhousing, as mentioned above. I don't have the slave or hydraulics.

Local Sale is Pending, but Consider it still for sale until otherwise posted.

Still for Sale

You're not just buying a transmission to complete your project, but you'll be helping me further my project.

I need to put a tranny in the car. Need Moolah.

Do you know how many miles are on it? or if it had any trouble shifting into gear?

Re: 1996 LT1 style T56 transmission $1400obo

As far as I know, the transmisson is fine and works. I never installed/used it, as it won't bolt up to the LS1.

Also, I was told by the salvage yard there is 66,000 miles on it. No way to verify this, just going with their word.

I would gladly use it, but as mentioned above, it won't work for me without modification.

thanks

I have an LS1 trans fully built with 6 spds inc parts. I was gonna go LS but went gen 1 sbc instead. Would you be interested in trading front covers and input shafts? Sorry I don't have a bell housing, but I think this may be a good option for both of us.
