LS7 spec T56 - Converted & Rebuilt for F-body or T5/Muncie replacement

In case someone is putting a built LSx motor in, and needs a trans to equal that power...

A 2006 LS7 core from a 7.0l (427cid) Z06 with less than 5K miles on it.
- Base unit rated at 550 lb-ft TQ

Rebuilt to 800+ lb-ft TQ rating

MM6 gear ratios matching the LT1/LS1/Viper versions

Double/triple cone carbon-fiber synchros.

Carbon-fiber synchro on REVERSE (No more bronze grinding)

1-piece countershaft/extension (like viper) for unprecedented strength and 5/6/R reliability.

Steel 3/4 shift fork.

Case has bungs for fluid cooler lines.

Quick engagement 3/4 synchro slider

Brand new GTO-T56 mainshaft

Brand new LS1 front plate, brand new shift linkage, plus LS1 tailhousing. (Ballbearing linkage sleeves)

Hardened Input shaft.

Billet synchro keys on 1/2, 3/4, 5/6 synchros, new OEM keys on Rev.

Bronze shift fork pads on all (1/2, 3/4, 5/6, Rev) shift forks

Performance shimming on mainshaft and countershaft.

Rebuild completely photo-documented, pictures available via email by request.

You're getting what amounts to a brand new LS7 T56, at a stock LS1 T56 price, but rebuilt for insane power levels.

Trans is located in 19711 and available for pickup, or meeting within 100mi. Otherwise shipping is via UPS for about $125.

Any questions, please PM or post.

Over $1000 of new parts installed

$2700 + S/H

thanks
mike

Re: LS7 spec T56 - Converted & Rebuilt for F-body

This trans can also work with the Tremec adaptor plate, to allow it to replace a T5, Muncie, Saginaw transmission and retain the stock linkage, bellhousing, clutch (just have to install a 26-spline disc if you don't have one). Strong small blocks and big blocks would work great driving this beefy unit.

You can also use it with the SFI bellhousings (Lakewood, etc.) since they usually have the same T5/Muncie bolt pattern.

I have an adaptor for $200 to attach to this trans if anyone is interested.
