NJ: FEELER Built 700R4 w/2800 Vigilante, B&M New!

Central NJ: I am looking to see if there is any interest in my automatic transmission setup. If there is I will be more than happy to pull it out of the car as it has just been sitting there for the past 4 years with no activity. The transmission had 82K miles on it when it was rebuilt and now this setup has only 10 miles on it from when I drove it back from the transmission shop. Let me be clear, there was nothing wrong with the transmission at the time of the rebuild. I installed a crate motor and at the time I decided to stick with the automatic so I had the transmission shop rebuild this transmission to withstand the new motor. I was told that this trans will be good for 500 crank hp. The shop is local and if there would be any questions about the workmanship I can, and will provide their information to the buyer. Receipts for everything included.

Included in this sale would be:
Fully Rebuilt 700r4 ($1,000)
Precision Industries Vigilante 2800rpm stall torque converter ($850)
Uninstalled B&M console megashifter BMM-80692 ($200)
Perma Cool Oil and Transmission Combo Cooler PRM-3318 ($130)
Install Kits for oil & trans coolers PRM-107 & 108 ($70)

That is well over $2200 I have invested in this setup that only has 10miles on it. Long story short my project ran out of steam and now that I am finally able to work on the car again this year I would like to do the t56 swap that I initially wanted to do. So with that, if there is any interest, this whole setup can be ready to be shipped/picked up in the central NJ area within 2 weeks. Please, any questions feel free to ask or you can call me to set up a date to inspect the parts. email is gwjw0216@optonline.net Thanks-Bryan

In the interest of helping you out, would you take a complete T56 swap of equal value as a trade? I'm asking because I see people with complete swaps for sale, looking to go back to an automatic.

Re: NJ: FEELER Built 700R4 w/2800 Vigilante, B&M New!

Yes i would definitely consider a trade if everything was included in the swap for me to change over as I am well aware that I will not see all of my money back from this setup. At this point I would consider all offers, including trades for a t56 swap (local buyers for trades please). I do not want to discourage people with the cost of what I have invested in this. This was done professionally and with quality parts that will perform for a very long time so it is expected that it would be on the costly side. I did the build on my car in stages and over a long period of time. As most of us know it gets expensive and now I am on to my next stage which includes looking for a manual transmission. Any questions feel free to PM or email me. Thanks again

Right now I am not willing to part out unless I have buyers for everything, sorry. If I do not sell this setup I would use the shifter. Right now I have the stock shifter in the car. Thanks

is the car driveable in order to test drive it to see how the trans. shifts? I may be interested in a few weeks.

Re: NJ: FEELER Built 700R4 w/2800 Vigilante, B&M New!

It will be ready to drive by June for sure. Fuel pump went a while back and I have been putting off the swap like the plague. Since I'm dropping the rear I am in the process of purchasing new parts, such as brakes. So yes, it will be ready very soon Not sure if I would let anyone drive it since the whole setup only has about 8mi on it or so, but you are more than welcome to come for a spin. I haven't even driven it yet with the new motor. Terrible

p.s. I have receipts for everything
