Just a FYI.....

The 4th gen aluminum ones are IDENTICAL & are a direct fit for our cars & go for half that price, on average.

Yes the 4th gen. DS fits in a 3rd gen but to say they are IDENTICAL isn't true.

4th gen. DS are slightly longer and have a larger diameter main shaft.

When you posted this you had no pics and you didn't say if it was a 3rd or 4th gen.

BTW, you can get a 4th gen D/S BRAND NEW.

I'm just asking because the U-joints and yoke have rust on them.
