i have a serp set up that i wanna get rid of. i would like a v-belt set up and id like to trade upright. everything with my set up is fine, i have repainted the pieces silver. it has the A/C still on it, not sure if it works, since its never been hooked up since i bought the car. id like to trade the crank pulley, water pump, water pump pulley, the power steering pump and pulley, tension pulley etc. i can say everything works fine since im still have it on the car. i just need a complete set up, and you can have my complete set up. need the water pump as well unless you dont have one. ill give you mine if you want it. ill pay the shipping for my set up, and you pay shipping for your set up unless you happen to live really close then maybe we can set somthing up for a meet. here are some pictures of my set up. first is after paint, second is before.

Why you wanting to swap to a V-belt?

Too bad I live on the other side of the ocean or I would jump on this. Hate my v belts.

stephen - id like to trade cause i think the serp set up is very big and i think its sits to high and wide. and plus i dont like the brackets, theyre to bulky. well, for my tastes anyway. some people like it, some people dont. its a preference.

this will be on m car until somebody agrees to trade, and shows me the shipping confirmation. this is my DD so i cant have it off my car for to long.

Just know that serpentine belts free up a few horsepower. So switching to V-belts will lose you a few horses.

The V-belt systems move the AC compressor to the other side of the engine, so you'll need the different hoses to.

If I can find a compressor I will trade you I have an extra v belt setup but I don't think it has the compressor, I have the lines though. I will have to check it out and see what all is there for sure and I will let you know. plus you will need a different water pump I think. which is no big deal standard rotation is only about $20 somebody correct me if I am wrong but I think the serp is reverse rotation.

thought i mentioned it, but maybe i didnt, i really dont need the A/C. i dont have A/C and never have so its not a big deal to me. all i need is the water pump pulley, crank pulley, power steering pump pulley and an alternator. dont need A/C at all.

and about the hp thing, im not TO worried about hp. im more of a 'show car' kind of guy so its more of the looks that matters most. i have a 305 so im not pumpin much anyway lol.

and yes i was for sure aware of the water pump. i have a new one on stand by, so thats not a problem. BUT if you DO have a water pump, then send it, and ill send mine.

and i will send all of the above as well, if you want the A/C compressor than its yours as well. if not then its just goin on the trash. not sure if it works, everything seems to be there as far as i know.

and i think again i forgot to add, that i actually realized while changing my fuel filter, the previous owner chopped the A/C brackets bottom off of it. so the bottom bolt is gone. BUT if driven this car for 2269 miles on this engine, and not ONE problem with it. no squeaks, no stress on it, nothin. it has the 2 top bolts in it, but the bottom was cut. (dont ask why)

I am pretty sure I have a spare full V-Belt setup I have to check and will let you know. I would trade straight up if your setup came with all the brackets and everything. Anyway, let me check that it is a full setup and get back to you with pictures.

Whats your email? I can send you a pic of the stuff to make sure it is what you are looking for. It looks like part of the power steering bracket was modified and the crank pulley has a spot for 3 belts so, I am thinking that this originally came with a/c and doesnt anymore.
Also, I think it would be better to not ship the alt or p.s pump cause of weight. I took this all off my old running T/A so I know it is all in working condition.
