i was lucky enough to win a brand new edelbrock 600 (chrome!) in a door prize. so i have bee using one, but had the other laying around as a back up. i also have a rebuild kit that will work for either of these. they certainly arnt show material but im sure if you took a scotch brite to them they would clean up nicely.
the one that was on my car has no problems what so ever. no leaking, no hesitation etc. its a manual choke, but choke was just opened up all the way full time. all you have to do is disconnect the bar that holds it open. t
the other carb leaked in the back bowl, i took off the bowl and found a torn gasket. so i bought a rebuild kit. before i rebuilt it i found another carb and got it (free) and it worked good, so i threw this carb and the rebuild kit to the side until i needed it.
the carb that runs good had a leak in the back bowl after a while so i opened the kit up and took out one gasket. not a probem since
well since i got the new edelbrock i figure i shouldnt need another carb for awhile and theres no use to have 2 carbs just laying around so they're for sale.
the one that runs great with no problems is - $75
the one that leaks is - $30
the rebuild kit minus a back gasket - $30
if you buy a carb AND the rebuild kit then the kit goes to - $20
shipping to lower 48 states only. havent checked shipping but itll prolly be around 15 bucks or so.
no idea. i bought it used but i can honestly say ive put 3000 miles on it and only had to change that gasket. it works flawlessly, but if i ever bought a used carb id rebuild. only reason i DIDNT is cause i got them both from my grandpa and they were free. so when it would stop working i would just go get another one off him.
i would trust it to work on my car. id go from illinois to callifornia in a heartbeat. (but thats just me)
no matter what, your still buying a USED carb. thats why prices are pretty low.

Reason: forgot something
ill check on the virginia shipping for you on monday morning. shouldnt be more than 10-15 bucks though. JR350tpi ill have pics to you in bout 20 mins. sorry its been so late, long effing day.
itll bolt on to a lot of different intakes, if you had TBI then youll have a quadrojet intake, all you gotta do is get the adapter plate for it which is like 15 bucks. and i have one if you need it. what intake do you have? you can get an edelbrock performer intake for about 80 bucks used.
if you need an adapter plate ill throw it in with the carb. i just need this stuff gone.
its manual choke, and i have rebuild kit for it. rebuild kit cost ~40 bucks. this ones for 30. ill throw it in for another 20 bucks though. its complete minus the back bowl gasket, which is currently on the carb your looking at.
all you need to get it on there, is the adapter plate (included) and a new carb to adapter pate gasket (or you can buy a brand new adapter plate for 15 bucks with all the gaskets included from any auto parts store. (just ask for quad-jet to holley adapter)
thats good, the carb will bolt right up to to the intake without a carb adapter. these carbs arnt going anywhere i was going to throw them on ebay but if you plan on buying it ill hold onto it for you. thanks
Ok thank you let me find out first but i fyou want put it on ebay if you could make more money out of it. I am also thinking of the edelbrock one have you have any problems with that one.
nope no problems so far, but the holley is much older than the edlebrock and it runs just as good as the edelbrock does. only reason i went with edelbrock is cause it was chrome, and it was free. the carb will still be here, i dont like dealing with ebay and id rather help out somebody on thirdgen then somebody on ebay.
