How good is the chip?

The chip was good when it was put back into the box,........

I might be able to test it this weekend. My buddy has a 92 Firebird with TPI and I am paying him a visit on Saturday. If it's OK with him I'm going to see If I can plug the chip into his car. His engine has a lot of mods ( BBK TB, Edelbrock Plenum/Runners and who knows what else I can't see ) and his car might have a custom PROM due to all the mods - but I'll try any way !

I got as far as opening the ECM, He saw the custom chip that was installed in it and didn't allow be to touch it. We also found that his engine was a 350ci after checking the stamp on the back of the motor.



Sorry - but I have no way to test the Hypertech right now.


Ayone that's local to RI and is interested in the Hypertech is welcome to come by and install it to be sure it's OK before buying it.
