GTA Disc brake posi rear and others

I have a disc brake rear that was hit and the one tube is slightly bent. I was going to pull the calipers and mounts.

Is it worth pulling the carrier also? Is anyone local that might want the whole thing let me know soon, it's heading to the scrap bin!

I'm in York PA

Yea, they are fine.
The disc (besides sufurace rust) look like they have a lot of life left in them.

Delco-Moraine calipers or PBR's?

Re: GTA Disc brake posi rear and others

Alu = PBR, both mounted trailing the axle
Delco Moraine = cast calipers, dr. side trailing, pass. side leading the axle.
Easiest way, if they rust they are delco moraine

The PBR's would be much more desirable, IMO. Check my vbgarage for a pic (lower left).

How much for just the backing plates? Mine are rusted and have two bolts that broke off in them. Cut the calipers off then broke off the other sides of the bolts too. Easy outs didn't work so I'm saying f it and getting new backing plates. Thanks.

You kind of lost me the brackets bolt to the tubes, so why would you want the stripped axle housing?

I need like the supension brackets and such, I'm custom fitting a rear in and need the spring pearches, lca brackets, panhard brackts, all those goodies, see what I mean now? Don't matter it the tube is bent as long as those brackets/mounts are good
