Do the roller rockers fit under stock valve covers? Are they 3/8 or 7/16?

Yes, I am almost certain they fit under the stock valve covers. worst thing is you may have to trim a little bit of the web inside the valve cover but I was going to run it with stock valve covers too. They are for 3/8" studs. I will sell you the rocker arms and studs together for the price listed above ($170) plus shipping.

Not a dumb question because i am not sure

What is standard bore? The size of the factory LT1 cylinder? I dont think the bore needs to be increased for the 383 build it was in but I might be talking out my ***... can someone chime in or post this on the engine tech board and let me know too lol

I just checked them. They are

FERREA F801500 OEM Style 1.500" Exhaust Valves

FERREA F801940 OEM Style 1.940" Intake Valves

These are selling online for $63 ea. set new - total of $123. My fault for not checking this before but since I listed $90 I will keep it at $90 plus shipping and NO less as you can see the huge price difference. Again these are brand new and never ran.

Re: Many NEW LT1 Parts and other stuff

If it was to be a correct 383 build then the pistons would be .030" over. Standard bore is 4.00 these pistons should be 4.030. The only concern would be the hand fitted rings????

Thanks Kwik. Then that is what they are. Golen Engine Service took apart the motor for me and reused my block for my new build which is why all this is for sale in the first place but anyways Chad confirmed with me that everything was perfectly ready to run with no problems.

The hand fit deal - When i bought this setup this is how all the parts were listed so I just copied and pasted the posting word for word to put up for sale again here.

Everything shown is still for sale!!!!

I'm looking to build a 355 so 4.030 is what I need. :] but the rings, like he says, is the concern.

I dont know what else to really say about the rings. A reputable race engine shop said it is all good to go but thats all I can say about it. I never ran the motor to know if it could be a problem.

You can buy the pistons and use whichever rings you want. I'll even make you a better deal on it - buy the pistons and I'll give you the rings for $15 ($80 listed) since it is becoming a big concern.

Is there something I can do to make it less of a concern? The rings are on the pistons now but I have no block to install them in. I do have pics from the original install but not sure what that will show other than the pistons in the cylinders with the rings fit like they should.

Those pistons will be for a 383 which is a diff stroke crank so they will not work with a 350 crank.383 crank has about a 1/4" more stroke so the wrist pins are moved up higher on the piston.Just chiming in.Kinda intrested in that crank, what can you do for price?

Re: Many NEW LT1 Parts and other stuff

All items not listed as sold as still for sale!

I know several people are looking into LT1 builds. Here is your opportunity to do it cheap. My new build is just about done so all this stuff is just taking up space.
