The trans is the t56 replacement for the t5. About 8k miles on it along with the Centerforce Dual Friction clutch. The driveshaft and OEM torque arm are shortened to fit the t56's longer tailshaft. I'd like to sell the clutch and trans together (and SFI bell housing if possible). $1300 for the clutch and trans and $250 for the bell housing. Let me know if you would like some pics.

Never dyno'd it but with street tires (BFG KD's) it ran 12.80s at 112mph with a 1.95 to 2.0 60 foot time. Rear axle ratio was 3.73. The car weighed ~3650 lbs with driver so its about 390 to 400 HP (calculated).

Yeah - A quick look at UPS shipping calculator looks like about $240 to ship to your zip.

Most likely due to the large box size for the Y-pipe (its welded together)

Its like the LS1 T56 but is set up for use with the T5's throwout bearing, clutch fork and master/slave instead of the LS1 trans CSC arraignment. This T56 is the repacement unit for the T5 3rd gen fcar owner who wants to upgrade to the T56. The only mods needed are to modify the trans cross member and shorten the driveshaft and OEM torque arm. These items are included with the trans. You can also use the BMR or Spohn torque arm located off their cross member. Also included is the clutch fork. I'll check if I still have the master/slave.

I was running the T5 hydraulics. The aftermarket T56 trans I ran was the T5 replacement.

Wont work for me as I got T56 hydraulics. Oh well

Yes - headers were sold.

Since your 89 GTA is essentially the same mechanically as my 88 Formula it would be an easy drop-in swap. Your car uses a MAF too so the ECM prom may work as well.
