T5 for 3.1 V6, and 3.1 V6 accessories/stuff
A few months ago I picked up a 92 Firebird with a blown 3.1 V6 in order to do a 350/T56 swap on it. Now I've got the complete drivetrain sitting in my garage, and it needs to go.
I have everything you need to put the T5 behind a 3.1 V6, including the trans, bellhousing, clutch, flywheel, bolts, hydraulics, crossmember, and shifter. I pulled it all as one piece out the bottom of the car. I haven't even separated it from the engine yet. I can't vouch for the clutch, because I never was able to drive the car, but the PO said it shifted and drove great before he knocked a hole in the oilpan and ran the engine dry. I'll let the whole thing go for $200, or $250 if you want the 3rdGen pedals too.
I also have all of the accessories, brackets, ignition system, etc that came off the V6. The distributor cap is brand new, and I believe the starter and alternator were newer units too. The only accessory that I kept for the V8 swap was the Power Steering Pump. As best as I can tell, he hit the oil pan on something and drained out all the oil. I'd imagine that the short block is toast. The heads might be fine if anyone had a use for them. I'm not into V6 stuff, so I don't know. The intake, throttle body, TPS, IAC, etc all appear to be in good working condition.
If you're looking for spare parts, here's your chance. I'll let this stuff go dirt cheap. Basically, let me know what you need and pay me enough to make it worth my time to ship and beat scrap prices. Whatever doesn't sell in the next few weeks is going to the scrap yard.
