I'm 8 hours away, but I have a 89 305 engine that came out of a Camaro. It looks good, the previous owner told me it had 89,000 miles before he pulled it.
I bought it and sold the car I was going to drop it in, so I don't need it now.
I am in need of either a 305 tpi, or 350 tpi longblock, either or needs to run well,no knocking,smoking.
i do not need the TPI or accessories, all that is needed is a complete longblock,{block,oilpan,timing cover}

I have a L98 shortblock from a 91 Corvette that was a low mileage motor that I was going to use as a core for my race motors. It was to nice so we honed it and put new bearings in it. Not a long block have no cylinderheads for it because I need them. You say long block, but that is not what you describe. Do you mean shortblock?

technically...
a longblock is the block with heads and usually the tins {timing cover/oil pan...}
a shortblock is the block minus heads, also usually with the tins..
a "dressed" engine, is usually a compelte pullout with heads,intake,manifolds and all the other accessories..
anyways, i would be interested in the 350 shortblock, how much are you looking to get out of it?

You do know Denny lives on Goodenow road don't you. He probably has 10 of em for sale right now. Go down to the big a$$ stop sign and turn left drive for 5 minutes and load your new engine.
got an 305tpi long block from an 86 trans am ws6. had 70k on it when I pulled it 4 years ago. ran great then. been covered up since. $250 you come get it. Montgomery,Il. 630-788-0609cell also is a LB9 oil pan to intake

i have a complete lg4 motor minus carb intake had abotu 90k when we pulled it... if you can come get it.. 100 bucks its yours.. i ahve an engine lift to loan it...
