Your 2.8 flywheel will work fine. same as the 3.4 newer ones and s-10's with 2.8 motors. It fits 88-95 s-10 camaro and firebird's 2.8, 3.1,3.4

Are you sure? I'm reading elsewhere on the forum that it's balanced differently.
My block is a 3.4 as well as the harmonic balancer.
