Hey guys, I'm looking for a L98 Longblock for my 1990 Formula 350. I fully restored my bird (new interior, paint, Goodyear Eagles, etc.) Over the past year. It's my 2nd third gen restro. She ran great when I bought her.. took me a year to restore her (I'm not a rich man, wages are very low down here in Central Florida, I'm a tile setter) I kept her un-tagged and garaged. After I was 100% satisfied.. not even a week on the road and I noticed a light rattle, thinking it was a heat shield?!?! lol, nope, bottom bearings spun, yep, I'm a dumb ***... I shoulda known...I bought the car too cheap, shoulda checked her out better, O-well, spilt milk. I didn't even get to enjoy all my hard work. So now 4 months later (guy on Craigslist ripped me off on a l98 vette longblock, wasted $500, rod knock) and saving up I'm reaching out for help! I can travel anywhere in the state. I'd like a long block and not short because after tearing apart my motor we noticed my valve guides are screwed.. gunna need new 083 heads anyways. 158k on motor. But everything else I have, tpi,harness, a/c, 2055 headers, etc. Just need block with heads! Thanks all, let me know whatcha got. God bless!
