Hit or Fit

I am changing out a 1989 305 tpi system with a 1995 350 LS1 .
I heard talk that the air conditioner pump will hit the frame.
The engine is out of a 1995 impala going in a 1989 trans am.
thanks Mike

1995 Impala...

Is it an Impala SS? The Impala SS for 1995 is an LT-1
The LS-1 was introduced in 1997 on Corvettes and in 1998 on F-bodies.

1995 Impala SS:
4 door sedan, LT-1 V-8, 260+ horsepower, 350 cubic inches (5.7 liters), multi-port fuel injection

That is IF it is from an Impala SS.
