vette 4L60E or camaro 4L60E

is there any differences between the two, total length of tranny, tail shaft type and size, and the the electronics, can a vette tranny be used in a vette lt1 swap into a third gen with out modifing the drive shaft or should i find a camaro 4L60E tranny and does it require driveshaft mods

Isnt the vette trans mounted on the rear differential?

well the torque arm is mounted to the trans and then to the rear end

there is no crossmember in a c4 corvette

the torque arm acts as the crossmember
