305TBI to 383 carb'ed Swap 92 camaro

Hey Guys,

I have a few questions concerning a motor swap that will be taking place pretty soon. Its in a 92 camaro and we are swapping the 305 tbi to a carb'ed 383.

What will need to be done/modifications for the transplant? Keeping the stock trans for now. Going to try to use the factory fuel pump , will this work if we use a holley regulator?
Also going to convert this to a v-belt pulley system. Will the powersteering and everything bolt right up or will new brackets need to be purchased? If so which ones?

Thanks

Yes your fuel pump will work if you use a regulator. Are you completely eliminating computer controls? What makes you want to go with the vbelt setup? Personally, I would take the serpentine setup off of that 305 and use it. It's pretty much a direct bolt in after that.

USE THE SERPENTINE SETUP WITH MARCH UNDERDRIVE PULLEYS!
You will hate the v-belt setup. Too much crap that won't line up to worry with. The 305 setup will bolt right up. I removed the smog pump and went to a smaller belt. I ordered the March Crank/Alternator underdrive pulleys. I love my setup. No problems at all.
