| Swap Question (L98/LT1) | Hmmm...well do to my inexperience i have decided not to go with the ls1 swap. However , i know a fe people that are really good with the l98 motor and tpi and have a chance to get a motor for pretty cheap. But i can also get an lt1 for only 200 more(900 and 1100). My question is which would be a better swap. I currntly have an 89 carbed camaro(no computer stuff it was all taken out by the last owner). I know for an lt1 u can get a cam and head job and put down nearly 350rwhp. But my question is how hard would this be to do w/ an l98. I know the intake needs replacement but heads, cam and intake done can 350-360rwhp be obtainable? How is the gas milage for a modded 350rwhp L98? | | |
